Energy-dispersing caps fit over protruding metal to help protect workers.

J-CAT Safety Products has introduced J-CAP—OSHA-approved energy-dispensing metal caps that help protect workers against exposed metal post brackets and concrete post brackets. J-CAP “fits over protruding metal to absorb the energy of a falling individual and prevent punctures from the blades of post brackets,” the company explains, “greatly reducing the risk of impalement in the event of a fall on the job.”

Th J-CAP safety covers are designed to withstand direct impact, and they flatten rather than shatter to protect individuals from sharp edges of the exposed post.

The highly visible J-CAP fit over standard 44 post brackets and other standard post sizes.
