Bettering the Concrete Repair Industry

Despite the challenges posed by recent travel and in-person meeting restrictions, the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) has continued its educational outreach to contractors and design professionals. ICRI accomplished this by adopting a robust virtual outreach.

In this exclusive virtual interview with Editor Bill Palmer, Elena Kessi, ICRI’s current president, outlined many of the benefits of participating in the ICRI workshops and training programs now offered virtually. ICRI has been able to reach out to wider group of construction professional, and the results have been positive. Kessi said that involvement has increased as members and industry professionals work and learn together virtually.

Kessi, who has been an ICRI member for more than 16 years, said that ICRI membership, at the either the local or national level, is an effective way to improve your business. Through training, committee involvement, and just peer-to-peer discussions, contractors have an opportunity to learn from key industry professional.

Kessi looks forward to the future when more in-person meetings and training opportunities will return. ICRI plans to hold its Fall Convention in person next month.
