The Future Looks Good for Residential Concrete Contractors

Despite the economic challenges, Jim Baty, the executive director for the Concrete Foundations Association, believes the residential concrete construction industry is poised for a strong 2022. Watch his exclusive interview with Bill Palmer.

Earlier this month, Associated Builders and Contractors reported that its “Construction Confidence Index readings for sales, profit margins and staffing levels increased in December. All three indices stand above the threshold of 50, indicating expectations of growth over the next six months.Jan. 2022 ABC Economic Update.

This positive view for 2022 is supported by Jim Baty, executive director for the Concrete Foundation Association. In a recent interview with Bill Palmer, Baty suggests that despite the challenges caused by supply chain issues and workforce recruitment, residential concrete construction is poised for a good year.
